Riley Safety Store

Our Mission

Riley Room Our mission is to make safety affordable and accessible to all children. Indiana University Health offers a Riley Safety Store at various locations across Indiana. We also offer an on-line Riley Safety Store and Safe Escape Program. Our Safe Escape Program provides evacuation products to help children with special needs safely escape fires, emergencies, or disasters.

Community Outreach

The Riley Safety Store also serves as a centerpiece for many of the hospital's community outreach programs and education resources in child injury prevention. Through the Riley Safety Store at IU Health, families, professionals, advocates, and youth can find tools and programs to help teach others about how to prevent child injuries.

Visit one of our Riley Safety Stores – either in person or on-line. Our goal is very simple – to help save children's lives. We invite you to be a regular customer and to partner with us to help all children grow up to lead healthy, safe, and productive lives.

Support from the Homeland Security's Assistance to Firefighters Fire Prevention and Safety Grants program to develop the Safe Escape® program and to build this demonstration website to show how Safe Escape® can be an integral part of a model on-line children's hospital-based Safety Store is acknowledged with gratitude.
